I got it to work, except my switch didn't flip. Turned out my linedef was facing the wrong way. I had to select the linedef and press F to flip it. Now it works and the switch also automatically flips and makes the switch sound effect!

had to look this up, but if you set the secret room's sector effect to 1024 it counts as a secret!

This coloring and glow is not a vanilla Doom feature, is it? Also you should make the nukage floor set to hurt the player. I assume it doesn't do this automatically?

I also have this weird thing where it suddenly deselects when I try to select more than one sector. Also do you think it is possible to run maps created with this program in Brutal Doom? Thanks!!

How do you add a custom skybox? All I get is a hall of mirrors I have a folder named after my map file. In it there is a materials folder, and in that is a skybox folder with my up, dn, lf, rt, ft, bk pictures with .vmt and .vft, but it won't recognize it so I think I have the wrong folder hierarchy

Honeycomb is better turned into mead as it provides saturation while not having an expiration date imo.

i remember back in the day where if you wanted a 3d floor, you needed to make a room all by itself in some corner of the map, assign the same tag to that room as the sector you want to have the 3D floor in, do some voodoo in the properties, and then change the floor and ceiling in the other sector to be the 3D floor's ceiling and floor (inverted) in the playable map. Oh it was so janky, and it was so cool at the same time

More than one rooster will kill each other till there is only one, so adding another rooster is a bad idea.

also, you need to build up and enclose you chicken pen, they will pile up in a corner and escape if you get too many. they "popcorn" over the fence.

after you get chicks, you can kill the hems, but don't kill the roster till you know you have a 2nd one.

The easiest way to look at the mixing of ore is to look at the ratio, so brass is 70% copper 30% zinc. Just put in that many nuggets. 70 nuggets copper and 30 zinc, its that easy, no math involved, just make it so it adds to 100.

For animals IIRC they need direct LOS to the sky (I'm not as confident about this though). You've mentioned spelunking (caving) a few times now, and tbh I think it'd be interesting to see what your area has to offer, but cave-in's will def be a problem. keep up the good work man, you're doing great!

while you are correct you get diminishing returns if you go 3 blocks → Water, Soil (75%), Soil (50%), Soil (25%); If, instead, you space out the water by 2 blocks you still will have 75% fertility → Soil (75%), Water, Soil (75%), Soil (75%), Water, Soil (75%). Of course you can repeat this pattern in any direction centered in a single water source (W, S, S, W)- I hope this helps Man - love the content!!
